Nutri Month Culmination Day Part 2
So when I arrived, everyone was dressed and ready to go, Apparently, the girls had carrots and the boys and okras necklaces.
Micah looks like a staff member from Moon Cafe, lol. But mommy’s so proud of you Micah!
So when we went downstairs and settled down, Cass and CJ (the emcees) did their thing and after their chitchat, the seniors presented.Emcees
Elimarc: forever the beat-boxer.
Boo for wrong focusing of camera.
I can say that the reps did their best. Judging from their winks, facial expressions and exaggerated moves for the audience, they were really feeling it.
An intermission by the teachers. Look at our Daddy John! He’s like a little kid!
After the intermission, the 7th graders and afterwards the juniors. The juniors were really good. They had spunky beats and funny concepts.
Terrible crowd control.
Oh and lookie at Venice’s little brother! Van Louie, why you so adorable?
And then after the juniors another intermission. In the middle of the intermission, Ma’am Rosenda called me all of a sudden and asked me to be the tabulator of scores. The juniors had the average of 93 while the seniors had an average of 92. I rechecked it in the calculator and dammit, it was still right.
But nevertheless, we won the poem-writing contest, the slogan-making contest and the essay-writing contest. Yay! We got second place in the poster-making and jingle competition but it’s fine, really.
And also, Ma’am Rosenda kept her promise and mentioned us in her thank you speech/closing remarks. Yay!
After the culmination program, we basically had a chill time. iPads, cameras, phones and mp3 players went out. *Guilty
Jemelyn, one of the winners of the slogan-making contest.
Mama Nieth: the lady that has made the jingle contest possible.
RJ and Venice wanted to know what they were selling at the canteen but they were too lazy to go down so they just decided to zoom in on the displays. “Do they have a mango Big Sip?” “No, the only Big Sip displayed is Apple flavored.” Hahaha
After that, we had a little talk with the teachers and went home. Thank God for weekends.
Boo for homework on weekends.
