Before we started our food exhibit, we had Zumba for about half an hour. Really fun plus with new moves! I sweated like a pig afterwards. (VS body here I come! Hahaha!)
Then after changing, set up our food exhibit.
Ours was Ampalaya cookies made by yours truly. Trust me it isn’t gross. I took the bitter part off and cut it into tidbits. Plus, we added in a huge generous glob of Nutella. You won’t get diabetes from the Nutella either since you know, ampalaya regulates diabetes and whatnot.
The entire social hall was a complete bustle.
But despite all that, it was really fun. Kids were attracted to the Nutella, really. Plus our classmates dragged some kids to the Benevolence table and entertained them with their crazy antics whilst convincing them to buy their food. We had Carrot ice cream, carrot waffles, munchkins with idk what vegetable was inside, kangkong cookies and ampalaya cookies. They’re not as bad as they sound. They were absolutely delicious.
Athena manning the carrot waffles station.
Marianne, Emie and Issy convincing the little kid to have some of their Kangkong cookies.
One of the junior’s display.
Christian and Bong walking around and endorsing their section. How come we didn’t think of that? Hahaha
Hello would you like some Nutella with cookies? Hahaha
Micah eating some carrot ice cream. They’re really good.
My favorite was Nikka’s group. They made vegetable salads which were just… wow, foodgasm. I finished them all, lol.
By around 9am, our section ran out of food to sell so we decided to clean up and return to class.
Niethel was counting the money and it resulted to 400 something. That was excluding the coupons. (everything was worth 2 pesos in our table)
The afternoon was mellow. There were some remaining sections that were still selling, though. Basically, the jingle participants rehearsed while the poster making contestants made their poster.
Oh and Elimarc taught me how to play Buttercup on the lyre!
"My daughter, let us purse our lips" mine was a failure though
Visited the poster making contestants and damn, they were good.
Slogan output made by Jem and Julius (he’s camera shy). Judging from the other outputs, I guess we’re going to win.
Last rehearsal for today. They’re going to do great for tomorrow’s culmination.
But despite the fun, can’t wait for the weekend.
